S’mores, vines and red wine

Quite vines, crackling fires and red wine shared under open skies

S’mores, vines and red wine

Experience Tasmania’s winter at Maclean Bay Vineyard with S’mores, Vines & Red Wine. On Saturdays during the winter school holidays, families are invited to gather among the dormant vines around a crackling fire pit – toasting s’mores, embracing the stillness of the season, and soaking up the vineyard’s atmosphere. Children can enjoy a hands-on s’mores experience while adults relax with a glass of Tasmanian cool-climate red wine. Warm, unhurried and deeply connected to place, this experience celebrates Tasmania’s Off Season as a time for comfort, connection and memorable travel moments.

What to expect:

When the vines are quiet, the fire comes alive – toast s’mores, sip red wine and savour Tasmania’s winter afternoons together. Completely outdoors. Completely Tasmanian. Just vines, sea air and seriously good pinot. Rug up and we’ll see you by the fire pit.

Available 11am–4pm on Saturday 11th, Saturday 18th and Saturday 25th July 2026.

A slower season, Shared Well

Winter draws a different kind of beauty across the vineyard. The pace softens. The air sharpens. The vines rest. This season, we invite you to step into the quiet - where small-batch reds meet crackling flames and simple indulgence.
